All over the world families migrate, and with them so do their children. Families bring their eagerness for a better life with them but not neccessarly the tools (language, education, cultural knowledge) they need to succeed. On the other hand, societies vary in their receptiveness of immigrants and their policies of integration. What are the impacts of these processes on children and adolescents? As newcomers, how do immigrant youth negotiate the conditions immigration places on them?
