An Official Journal of IUNS and FENS

Aims and Scope

New evidence from many branches of medicine constantly demonstrates the importance of nutrition in various disease processes. While considerable progress has already been made towards the prevention of disorders like hypertension and coronary heart disease, the search for reliable dietary guidelines continues. The editors of this journal show their dedication to this search by carefully selecting basic and clinical reports offering new information relating to human nutrition and metabolic diseases including their molecular genetics. Papers present original findings dealing with problems such as the consequences of specific diets and dietary supplements, nutritional factors in the etiology of metabolic and gastrointestinal disorders, and the epidemiological association between dietary habits and disease incidence.

Published online first

All articles are published electronically ahead of print with the definite citation line. Thus, an article will be available online shortly after the author's approval to print.
