Summary
Gallbladder blunt trauma is uncommon and represents
about 1.8% of blunt abdominal injuries. In combination
with other organic injuries and previous surgical procedures,
diagnosis may be a challenge. We report a case of
a patient who was previously admitted for surgery and
recovered after an abdominal trauma with a primary diagnosis
of small fracture of the liver. An accurate diagnosis
was delayed because of silent clinical presentation.
Surgical cholecystectomy was performed.
