The upgraded free Karger Alert system offers a much wider selection and various interesting settings. Most importantly, it now includes e-article alerts for online-first journals as well as early book announcements and book release notifications! Compose your own free alert profile to make the most of this new information tool.

Under this heading in the Book Section you find the online version of our Bulletin of New and Forthcoming Publications, New Releases (with links to the full details of all new serial and non-serial book titles and special journal issues) of the current and past quarter as well as the list of all titles currently In Preparation.
Information Downloads
There is a special Download area for book and journal data: Book and Journal Information Download with all the details you need as a text file or browser version and as PDFs, respectively.
The download for books published after 1998 comprises full bibliographic data as well as availability and possible territorial or other restrictions in distribution rights; restrictions, e.g. to certain fields, are possible. For journals the download contains all necessary journal data, from ISSNs, number of issues and volumes to institutional price details for the journal program of 2006 as well as 2003 to 2005.
