Rights and Permissions

Permission Request

If you would like to use any material or illustrations copyrighted by Karger or wish to make reprints of an individual book chapter or journal article, please contact
Nicole Froidevaux or Tatjana Sepin of Rights and Permissions.

Electronic Reprinting (e-Reprints)

You can also receive permission for electronic reprinting from most journals, books or supplements published in 1998 or later.
e-Reprints are PDF documents protected by Digital Rights Management software and provide an economical and effective way to reach your key customers, strategic decision makers or employees via
 |
- e-mailings (with PDF attached) - CD-ROMs, floppy disks or other storage methods
your own web platform an - Intranet for your staff
|
e-Reprints have the decisive advantage over paper reprints of being portable, easy to access, and loadable onto any network or web server. You as the customer decide on the number of copies or downloads permitted. If further copies or downloads are required, the usage conditions can easily be extended.
To explore this option, contact Nicole Froidevaux or Tatjana Sepin of Rights and Permissions.

Online Access Sponsoring

By sponsoring online access, you make individual book chapters or journal articles, entire journal issues or even whole volumes (published in 1998 or later) freely accessible to all Karger website visitors. The URL to the sponsored online access can of course be easily integrated into your promotional materials.
A short acknowledgement text, such as "Sponsored by..." in the respective Table of Contents, can make your sponsorship visible to all visitors if you wish. It goes without saying that hyperlinks can be added either to a specially created promotional page (html or PDF) hosted by Karger or directly to your company or product web site.
To explore this option, contact Nicole Froidevaux or Tatjana Sepin of Rights and Permissions.

Foreign Rights and Translations

All queries concerning translations and foreign rights should be addressed to Nicole Froidevaux or Tatjana Sepin of Rights and Permissions.
